Italian photographer Matteo Varsi has a unique way of dealing with light and repetition. In the pola series "White Circus", the repetition lies in the soft accumulation of bodies bathed in light, towels laid out here and there, and of beach umbrellas emerging from the sand like small islands. The "Repetition" image is the echo of the city to this enchanted interlude. Here, with an hypnotising poetry, light and shadow play endlessly with the glass and metal of Orwellian facades. Motifs appear and Varsi plays with them, making us gaze with fascination at the stained glass windows of a magically beautiful and abstract cathedral.
