Ludmila Espiaube is a self-made photographer. Taking purely documentary photographs does not interest her. She is rather looking for the aesthetic part of it, a harmony in her framing. Her style reflects her personal interpretation of an ambience, her subjective vision of beauty, of elegance, strongly influenced by millenarian arts of engravings and of calligraphy. Born in Soumgaït, industrial town of Azerbaijan, ex-republic of disappeared Soviet Union, she has lived in France since 1986.
